Geography is about how some of the natural processes work and is particularly interested in how man relates to the earth and to other people. A key question for Geography teaching at The King's School is, ‘how well we are doing at being stewards of God's creation?' Another principle that is learnt in Geography is that what one person does has an effect on other people. We do not live in isolation but we all influence others for good or otherwise. There are many opportunities in Geography to evaluate mans' wisdom and hopefully develop wise thinking with the pupils.
In Geography we aim to:
- Investigate what has been discovered about the earth
- Identify and try to understand people's views on various geographical issues
- Study a range of topics and case studies to give the pupils a broad education
We believe:
