In a few days time, bags of food, water, blankets, toiletries and clothing donated by pupils and families from The King's School will be flown out to Haiti to help those whose lives have been devastated by the recent earthquake. 

Following Monday's assembly in which pupils were made aware of the scale of the disaster and the desperate plight of the survivors, there has been an overwhelming response to an appeal for aid.  As the week has progressed, it has been fantastic to see piles of donations building up in the School hall, with pupils arriving each day carrying bags full of items for Haiti.  There has been a lovely sense of working together to make a difference and express God's love in a practical way.
