The King's School is designated as a school with a religious character by the Department for Children, Schools and Families and therefore it is a requirement that the successful applicant will be a practicing Christian in accordance with the Spiritual ethos of the School.  We are currently an Independent school, but are in the process of applying for government funding.  We will, therefore, only be calling applicants for interview who have qualified teacher status. 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and the successful applicant will therefore need to undertake an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
