Thus the content of our lessons is the same as in any other MFL lesson in this country.  However our purpose in teaching languages is not only to enable our pupils to buy sandwiches abroad on holiday, but to also appreciate the variety of languages and cultures in our world and to be tolerant of and fascinated by them.

We as a department hope to make our contribution in helping our pupils become caring, compassionate and understanding citizens, well prepared to be doers and verbalizers of the Gospel message which is at the heart of the School's raison d'etre.

We endeavour, in this process, to make lessons challenging, fun and varied, catering in our preparation to as many learning styles as there are unique individuals in the school setting.
