The King's School believes that pupils' needs go far beyond learning.  Alongside parents, we believe the school has a responsibility to support children and young people pastorally as well as academically.  Class Teachers and especially trained staff are on hand to help pupils deal with issues as and when necessary.  As much as possible we aim to make this pastoral care proactive rather than reactive.

In addition, as part of the ethos of the school, pupils are encouraged to care for one another.  This is particularly evident in the support older pupils provide for younger children in the school.

Parents are welcome to speak to staff at the school if they have any concerns about their children.
